The Nutrition Specialist contributes to the Child and Adult Food Program by working directly with licensed childcare providers. The incumbent trains new participants on nutritional requirements, policies, and procedures. This position maintains working knowledge of any changes or updates to program requirements from OSPI, FNS and USDA Nutrition and Food programs. The responsibilities include driving to job sites to review state packages with childcare providers. This position is Part-Time.
